To reset the engine codes before cranking the keyswitch power needs to be momentarily disconnected. This would typically be from a panel output from the RESET function.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To configure an output to the RESET function:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
*Navigate to Settings - Brain - Output Setup - Digital Output Function Selection&lt;br /&gt;
*Select a spare output and pick option RESET&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For the chosen digital output, wire the relay with the normally closed contact providing power to the engine keyswitch power. In this way, when the RESET output powers momentarily during startup it will open (cut power) for about 5 seconds at the beginning of the start sequence.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some engines may have a &amp;quot;Diagnostic Reset&amp;quot; input which can be wired to the RESET relay to close to ground instead of cutting keyswitch power.&lt;br /&gt;
