==Overview==

The Panel Hours tag is a data value on the EDR separate from Engine Hours. The Engine Hours tag is intended to always be related to the engine (or driver) and usually comes from the CAT data bus. The Panel hours tag instead links to the annunciator to get the panel-tracked hours.

==Fixing Panel Hours==

If panel hours are not showing up for a unit, perform these troubleshooting steps:

#Make sure the EDR is updated to v1.76 or newer. If an update is needed, see [[EDR Software Update]]
#Connect to the EDR Wi-Fi Console. If instructions are needed, see [[EDR_Wi-Fi_Console#Connecting]]
#Make sure the EDR is actually getting annunciator data. On the "Alerts" tab check the current run register and make sure it doesn't show "Timeout". If it shows Timeout, see [[EDR Troubleshooting - Missing Compressor Data]]
#If the EDR is up-to-date and the run status is fine, the panel hours register is probably simply not filled in. Navigate to the "Modbus Master" tab, open the "Modbus Master Table", and look at the bottom for the row labeled "Panel or Package Hours". 
##Set the ID to the ID of the annunciator. This would have been seen on the run status setup. Usually it is "1", but sometimes is another number.
##Set the register to the one used for that panel type. Common types:
###EIM (Old EMIT): Register 37005, byte format "Unsigned 32-bit word swapped"
###Altronic DE3000: Register 40002, byte format "Unsigned 16-bit"
####Note: CSI programmed DE3000s use ID 2, register 40001, and format Unsigned 32-bit
###Altronic DD40: Register 40002, byte format "Unsigned 16-bit"
###Murphy TTD: Register 40002, byte format "Unsigned 16-bit"
###Murphy Centurion Plus: Register 40643, Scale 0.000277778, Byte format "Signed 32-bit"
###Murphy Centurion 4: Register 40119, Scale 0.000277778, Byte format "Signed 32-bit"
###Frick: ID 2, Register 40025, Scale 0.1, Byte format "U32 1K then integer reg"
