== Configuration ==

1. Under Brain - Output Setup - ECU Selection the type will be set to "Generic / No ECU / EMIT ECU"

2. An analog input should be set up as the speed reference. By default, AI-8 will be used. This is set under Brain - Input Setup - Mag Pickup (RPM) input. Set Speed Input Type to "Analog Input". Select AI-8 (or other input) as the reference. After submitting the input setup for the analog input will be shown and it can be set to the input range expected from the EICS when the signal is 4 mA and 20 mA.

3. Under Brain - Output Setup - Digital output function selection the function on DO-3 will be set to "Fuel valve"

== Wiring ==

1. The "START NO" and "START CMN" (EICS pins 21 and 41) are connected together momentarily to start. These will route back to CR2 11 and 14 (C and NO). The CR2 relay is driven by digital out 2 and is powered while the start button is pressed.

2. The "ENG RUN STOP A" and "ENG RUN STOP B" (EICS pins 29 and 30) connect back to CR3 pins 11 and 12 (C and NC). These open to run. 

3. EICS pin 46 "PANEL SHUTDOWN (+) will be powered by the EICS when shut down. This is wired to CR9 A+ (coil), and the other side of the relay coil goes to ground. On the contact side of CR9 the common goes to ground and NO to DI-27. This allows DI-27 to be used as a shutdown signal from the EICS to the panel.

4. EICS PIN 28 and 39 are an E-STOP contact. These can be wired to an NO (green) contact block added to the panel E-Stop.

5. EICS pin 22, 32, and 42 are for the manual speed adjust switch. Pin 22 is common and goes to both contact block tops. Pin 32 connects to the remaining Manual- contact and pin 42 connects to the remaining manual+ contact.

6. EICS pin 23 and 33 are connected together to switch to manual speed control mode. These will connect to the NO contact block on the speed mode select switch that is on the "Manual" switch direction.

== Sequence Summary ==

1. Operator presses panel RESET

2. If required, the pre-lube cycle will run

3. The brain enables the ignition (Pin 9 is ungrounded) and fuel valve (pin 10 is grounded)

3b. If CR3 is configured to mirror the fuel valve, it will be powered

4. Holding START causes brain to energize CR2

5. EICS cranks engine

6. When START is released, CR2 de-energizes

7. After "B" timers expire, Brain is in normal state

8. If fault occurs, Brain removes CR3 which triggers EICS shutdown

== Data Connection ==

The DCT has the ability to read EICS data onto the EDT tab of the home screen. 

#Connect the EICS modbus port (on the back of the display) to the "ECU RS-485" pins of the DCT (pins 25-27)
#On the DCT navigate to "Settings" -> "Engine Data Translator" and change the mode to EICS. Set up the port settings to match the settings on the EICS display
#The EDT tab on the home page should start to populate with EICS data
