DCT Password Levels

The DCT has three password levels: read-only, Setup, and Engineering. The list below shows which settings groups are included under each level.

The passwords can be changed under System Settings - Change Passwords. See this link for details.

Optionally, the Engineering level can be locked out to require a USB security key. See EIM_Security_Key

Note: some uncommon settings are not shown

Settings that can be changed under read-only

  • PID Setpoint/Deadband (if enabled on PID setup page)
  • Speed setpoint

Settings that can be changed under Setup

  • Engine hour timers reset
  • AFRC Alarms
  • Analog input kills (but not sensor settings)
  • Digital input setup
  • B timer lengths
  • Buzzer alarm
  • Custom digital output criteria
  • Brain ECU selection
  • Gauge setup
  • Idle hold settings
  • Speed alarms
  • Load delay settings
  • Pre/Post lube settings
  • Noflow settings
  • Recycle loop settings (some settings)
  • Speed de-rate settings
  • Start gas settings
  • Thermocouple input kills
  • EMIT Ignition alarms, calibration, timing setup
  • EMIT Speed controller Alarm setup, idle hold setup, sensor setup, calibration
  • EMIT Vibration sensor kill level
